IP House prevented critical equipment failure for one company

By Jamieson Lee Hill, February 19th, 2025

At IP House London, we specialise in enterprise-class colocation services, providing secure, high-performance data centre solutions for businesses of all sizes. In this short article, we reveal how IP House saved one company from critical equipment failure, so that their services were uninterrupted.

IP House London’s Solid Reputation.

Our state-of-the-art facility in London’s Docklands is well known for providing exceptional uptime, security, and connectivity. This places us as a trusted partner for cloud providers, financial institutions, media companies, and enterprises that require reliable IT infrastructure. In particular, we work closely with Fintech, Edutech and Gaming companies.

Early Detection Saves a Client from Downtime

Our proactive hall monitoring system recently detected an unusual sound coming from a client’s colocation rack. Upon investigation, the client discovered a faulty fan on the brink of failure. This was in fact a critical issue that could have led to significant downtime and potential equipment damage. However, our early monitoring and detection systems meant that no downtime was experienced. Real-time monitoring and rapid response identified the issues earlier enough to prevent reputational damage and loss of revenue. The early detection allowed the client to repair the system before it failed.

Here’s what the Client had to say:

"Thanks for the proactive alert. It really helped us. Faulty fan—if left unattended, it would have damaged the unit. You are a ⭐!"
